Sunday - And My Homework Is Done?

Ah bonjour et bienvenue!

So yeah it is Rememberance Day today. I hope you all remembered to do your two minute silence at 11!! :) I have no idea but when the cheesy montage of people who've died comes on the news, it actually makes me want to cry. And I don't usually get emotional over things like that.

But yes. I've uploaded the last of my Lake District photos to Flickr ... I've got a few more random ones but apart from that, no new photos to upload.

BREAKING NEWS! I got all my homework done that I brought home with me!! How on earth did THAT happen? Usually I'll do one big piece over the weekend that takes up not just Saturday but Sunday as well and it was the same for this week too ... but I got it all done by 1pm today ... :O

So now I can ... dare I say it ... HAVE FUN????!!!!????

Ahem.

Ommmgggg I am soooo excited about the Mighty Boosh starting on Thursday! (BBC3 at 10:30pm) It is gonna ROCK! I must pay credit to Grace here as she introduced me to the wonders of the Boosh. We must all worship her. *worships*

Um haven't watched any films since Joe's Palace ... so now reviews I'm afraid.

Oh yes, Song of the Blog. I've obtained quite a few new songs in the last couple of days so I must pick one from the bunch ... and the winnner is .... Take That with Rule The World! I know! Immi liking a Take That song! Madness!!!!

It is actually quite good. Cheesy. But good.

Thursday - A Bit of a Funny Turn

Hi!

Um today was a bit shit. I went a bit funny this morning ... there I was, innocently helping the Year 3s like I do every Thursday morning in my free period and I got this stomach ache ... yeah won't go on about it (already have done to Grace lol) but basically almost fainted (that sounds stupid lol) and went home early ... I was fine after that though! :D

But never mind. So first week back after half-term ... it's been ok ... not TOO much work so far but it's all coming next week ...

Prizegiving tomorrow *groan* stupid poncy event ... Ah well ... at least we're DOING something this year. Collecting our GCSE certificates!! I'm wearing a trouser suit but I don't want to wear heels cause I just know that if I do, then I'll fall over and everyone will laugh. :)

It'll probably happen anyway even if I wear pumps. :D

Edit: OO YEAH. Right. I don't have a song of the blog this week because I haven't added anything new since Bleeding Love.

Ummm I also just watched a really good film called Joe's Palace. It was shown on BBC 1 or 2 (can't remember which) about four days ago and I recorded it since it went on for nearly 2 hours into the deep and dark NIGHT. Ahem.

It was really good! It was about this boy who watches this old house for a billionaire and between the hours of 6 and 9 he has it all to himself. I won't go into more but although it seems a bit twee and like nothing happens, it's really moving, poignant and just ... charming.

And I never use that word. So yeah. I'd say 8/10. :)

Umm I have no new good photos lol so er go to Grace's blog to see her groovy ones. :)

Sunday - Bonfire Night (well almost) and The Big One

Hi!

So on Saturday evening I went to the park for fireworks with Grace and Lizzy. Yaaaaaay! Very fun. If you wanna see pics from it go here. :) But er ignore the pic of me. It's disgusting. So er don't ... go there.

Yes.

Um yeah ... me and Grace met up at 4 in town and mooched around for a while, visiting Lizzy in her shop and going into Past Times and so on.

It was vair fun.

Um ... and todaaaay it was the derby!!!!!!! It was fab ... I couldn't go as I had to do my English essay but I watched it on Sky. Very exciting match!!

I'll go now as I can't really be bothered to blog at the moment.

Friday - Halloween Party and French Homework

Hi,

Sooo ... last two days were fun. On Wednesday I went into town and after a bit of stressing about where I was meeting Grace (we hadn't arranged a meeting time .. we're idiots) and I eventually found her outside Costa. Lool. Then we did five hours of shopping/moaning which killed our legs.

But we did buy tasty snacks!

Then me and Grace took the bus to her house where we got off about a hundred stops too early because we thought it was her street ... when we were still in town. Hmm.

So we waited for the next bus which didn't turn up.

So THEN we phoned a taxi and as soon as we had booked it, the bus came past .... *hits head with large object*

We're idiots.

But yes.

So then we EVENTUALLY got to Grace's house where LIZZZZY came. And we all dressed up, ate spag bol, danced around taking photos in the garden, watched TV, watched random Internet stuff and the film The Eye.

REVIEW TIME!

Now this was the kind of horror film I like. Not scary, interesting with some ghosts. Fabulous. Not the best film ever made but I liked it. 6.5/10 Perhaps even a 7.

The next day, Lizzy went at the crack of dawn and me and Grace caught the bus into town to go and see the film Stardust.

REVIEW TIME!

It was ok. I thought it went on a bit and it was too smushy even for MY liking (and I likey very muchy the smush). But it was alright. Bit too clichéd, but what can you do? It WAS a PG. :)
Highight: Take That song. Bwahahahaha. >.<>

Um and then we went home. The End.

BUT today I did my French talk! Yaaaaaaaaay! I still haven't finished it but nearly!! I gave up at half 3 because my eyes were closing and I was pissing around on Facebook far too much for my liking.

So I'll bid you farewell.

Edit: Ooo I forgot to do the reccommended song! Um ... I just got Edith Piaf's greatest collection and love La Vie En Rose and Rien de Rien so I reccommend both of those.

I'll upload La Vie En Rose I think. Sorry about not uploading The Hoosiers like I said I would but Grace has uploaded that. xxx
