Hi!
Ok a lot to report right now but I'm just gonna do it in summary cause I'm lazy and can't be bothered. :)
On Saturday, I went to Lizzy's house at 2:30 where Grace also turned up (eventually lol) and we all went off into town to see Hairspray. Whoooop.
It was very good and I give it a 6.5/10. If I'm a bit harsh. The .5 down is because of Zac Efron. Just because.
"Seaweed" was dishy though. ;)
ANYWAY, after that we caught the bus home (just) and played trivial pursuit. Go see Grace's blog for more details lol.
Then we had tea and then HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL!!!!
10/10. No questions asked. BAHAHAHA IT IS SO CRAP.
Then off to bed at a respectable 4am ... what?
Got up at 10.30am next morning and off Grace went. Then I left Lizzy's house at 11:30 and I went to watch the football wit my family which was live on Sky (but we went to the match!). It was a cracking match but SO STRESSFUL. But luckily we won anyway 1-0.
BWHAAHAHAHAHA SUCK ON THAT CRYSTAL PALACE.
Yes. And that was my day! So er bye!

Thursday - Results, The Simpsons and A Slap-up Meal
Hi!
Sorry about that frantic and excited post below lol, but I was rather excited. :)
Still am actually. YAYAYAYAY.
Ahem. Now that is over, I shall tell you the events of my day!! :)
Ok, so first I went into school at the crack of 10am to pick up the envelope of DOOOOM as Grace calls it. I saw Lizzy, opened my results, screamed a bit, hugged a lot, received funny looks etc. All the normal stuff really. >.<
Afterwards, me and my Mum went back home to collect my brother so that we could go and see The Simpsons Movie together.
Now I know what you're thinking: didn't she go and see that already?
Yes. lol. But my brother hadn't so I went with him. Aren't I kind?
After the film (which was still funny the second time) me and my brobro (hehe) walked into town to meet with my Mum again where we would meet my aunty and uncle in Starbucks.
They gave me a 'Congratulations' card and a WHSmith voucher! :D It was very unexpected and very kind. :)
After a looooonnnngg coffee, I went to buy some history books before the shops closed.
What? I like history! >.<
So then we tootled off home until it was time to go out again for a celebratory meal in my favourite restaurant.
Lovely jubbly. Yum yum yum. :D
And that was it really. Sorry I'm a bit hasty and a crap blogger today but I'm kinda tired. >.<
Well, I'd better go, :)

Monday - Cycling, Tickets, and Some Milk
Hi!
So yeah, all I did today was really cycle down to the local shop and get some milk for my mum. An easy task you might say. Ah, but when you live in the middle of nowhere as I do, a mere cycle to the local shop takes you 45 minutes there and back. Still, it was good exercise and very fun so I'm not complaining. I may do it every day in fact. :D
We were nearly there (just made it up another huge hill) when ALAS! The carrier bag with our shopping in that I had attached to the handle of the bike which kept banging into the side of the bike (God what a long sentence), ripped completely apart and the shopping landed completely on the floor.
Thought I'd update this old blog you see here. :D
Before I begin on my daily ramble, I'd like to thank Aristarionne for being the first notknowntomepersonally person to have commented on my blog! Whoot! And I like your blog very much indeed. :D
Anyway, on to today's events ...
Nothing much again, I'm afraid. God, I sound like a boring old sod, don't I? Maybe I am one. Ah well. :D
I got up VERY late today as I have done most days this week because I am a bad bad bad bad girl. :( I tried to get up early, I really did! But my brain said no. :D

I may do it every day in fact. :DI was on my way back from the shop with my goods (and my brother) in tow, just as we were going up the HUGE hill that leads up to this little area where you can see for miles and miles around and is soooo beautiful ....
Wait, I've gone off on a tangent. SO, I was going up this hill, and who did I bump into but my friend Kathryn? She used to go to my school ages ago and only a month ago did I discover she lives around where I do! Since then, I've bumped into her loads of times which makes you wonder why we had never seen each other around before but there we are.
We exchanged pleasantries (as English people do) and then me and my brother set off again back home.

Great.
Luckily, we hadn't bought that much but it did mean we had to carry items while cycling up various hills and so forth.
So that was my excitement of the day. :D
Er ... no that really was it.
OH YEAH! I got the ticket (yeah tickET - apparantely it's a pass for all five of us who are going.) for Alton Towers today! WHOOT! So that is DEFINITELY happening now.
:D
Well, better go, nothing to do and so on. :)

P.S. Oh, I did watch a film: Notes on a Scandal. I'll just give a rating for it though cause I can't be bothered to review it. :D
8/10 Very good indeed. But a bit weird and creepy. :D

Sunday - Alpacas, Tortoises and a Good Old Footie Match
Hi!
I've been a bit naughty and not blogged since Wednesday but that's because not much has happened! A few things happened yesterday but I forgot ... oops!
Anyway, first let me clear something up. If you have read Grace's (and no I am not linking to her blog today because I forgot to copy it from last time hehe) manic comment from yesterday, you may think that I have not booked the Alton Towers tickets, despite being only a few weeks away.
Au contraire, my befuzzled amie, I have indeed booked the tickets!! YUS!!!
So anyway, back on to yesterdays events ...

WE ARE GETTING FOUR ALPACAS.
I think my family has gone officially insane ... I don't particulary want them but ah well, they'll look nice in our (at the moment) empty paddock.
We were going to get a baby tortoise today (don't even go there) but my dear mother found out that you had to keep them indoors.
I was perfectly happy to do this (I love tortoises!! I would have had three bec
ause mes parents used to have them as kids before the law came into play but they all ran away. I lead a normal life ...) but my mum was having none of it.

In other news, my friend Ellie has got her new Irish Red Setter puppy named Freddie (after Freddie Mercury of course!!). I haven't seen pics of him yet, but when I do, maybe I'll post a couple here! He's bound to be verrry cute!!
My local football team played their second match of the season yesterday and drew 1-1 away. We were 1-0 up until the 80th minute or something stupid where with 10 men we gave away a penalty. Grr. :D Ah well, we've got 4 points now so that's pretty good!
Better be off, but have a nice ... week. :)

Wednesday - Boredom, Nothing and Plans Awry Again
Hi!!!!
Nothing much happened today so you can rejoice for this will be a shorter blog.
All I did today was get up late, mooch around and walk the dogs.
Seriously that was it.
Charlie, Josh's (my brother) friends Callum and Kyle and my Mum's friends were all going to come over but my Mum had an upset stomach so we cancelled. I should have been upset but to be honest, it'd been a hectic (yet very fun) few days and all I wanted to do was mooch around.
Operation: Alton Towers is go and all I need to do now is book the tickets (finally lol) because I left it too late today.
Heehee, oops.
Well, nothing else happened today so I'll go now. You deserve a break. :D

Tuesday - Laughing, Lunch and Le Cinema
Hi! Welcome back to mon vie tres exciting!

Today was a fun day - I haven't laughed so much for ages. :) I went to the cinema with Grace and Lizzy to see The Simpsons Movie (yay! I can review that!).
I met Grace in town (a different town to the one I went to yesterday) at 12. I knew that Lizzy would be a bit late because of bus times and so forth so, as Grace was a little chilly, we went into Primark where Grace bought a very nice blue jumper.
We went back outside where we saw Lizzy making her way up the high street. There we hugged and smiled excitedly - we hadn't seen each other for aaaages!
We decided to go to Costa Coffee rather than having a picnic in the park which was our original plan - it was spitting all day and was rather cold and windy. Bleugh.

I had a tuna melt panini and a caramel latte, Lizzy had a chicken wrap thing and a hot chocolate with whipped cream and a choccy stick, and Grace had a medium hot chocolate. :)
We stayed in there for agggges ... it must have been about an hour. Because it was Lizzy's birthday a few days ago, I gave her her present, a card and the drawing I mentioned yesterday. I also gave her a tasteful (!) flashing Sweet 16 badge and gifts from holiday: a cuddly owl with a Royal Carribean jumper on (called, affectionately, Twit) (duh) and a weird flower thing with the Pope on. Because these are normal holiday gifts.
I had given Grace's holiday gifts (a square thing with the Pope on and a cuddle orange dog which she named Naranja) in Primark when I first met her.
Grace gave Lizzy the first two series of Green Wing (she loves that show) and a MASSIVE box of flying saucers.
I love flying saucers.
ANYWAY, after enjoying our drinks and talking for a while, we mooched on down to the cinema where we were shocked to find a huge queue for tickets. Weird because it's Tuesday and it was at 2 in the afternoon. Ah well, eventually we bought our tickets for The Simpsons Movie and also bought some popcorn for good luck.
Grace excitedly spotted a new addition to the cinema complex: a dance machine. She loves dance machines and dragged Lizzy on there with her while I held the popcorn and watched eagerly.

I hate dance machines but I love to watch people on them. Unfortunately Grace and Lizzy are rather good at them so there's not much to laugh at. >.<
By the time Grace and Lizzy had finished, it was time to enter the cinema where we got pretty good seats for a rather full cinema.
For the next 90 minutes, we watched the film which I'll review in a minute. :)
Afterwards, we headed to Macdonalds where we had intended to grab a bite to eat but none of us felt very hungry so we just sat in there for 45 mins, sheltering from the wind and rain.
Grace's mum came and then mine and alas, the party was indeed over.
Nothing happened after that. We finalised our plans for Alton Towers a bit more but I just need a bit more confirmation before I book it. Eeeeeee I can't wait for that!
So now ... I'll review the Simpsons movie!
Story: The Simpsons movie is basically a long, funny, dramatic normal episode of The Simpsons. It inv
olves a pig, a Inuit booby lady, a giant dome and Green Day. That's all I have to say really. I'm no good at describing things. :)
olves a pig, a Inuit booby lady, a giant dome and Green Day. That's all I have to say really. I'm no good at describing things. :)My Thoughts: Utterly, utterly hilarious. I don't like the modern Simpsons episodes as much as the older ones so I thought the film wouldn't be that funny but oh, was I wrong. It made me laugh out loud on numerous occasions (which I never normally do) and made me hysterical a couple of times. :) If you want a proper comedy that will make you laugh not cringe, this is the film for you. It's got everything: what's not to like? Bliddy hilarious. Go watch it now. :D
Rating:10/10
Well, that's all from me today, see you tomorrow!

Monday - Shopping, Coffee and Alton Towers
Hi! Back again! :)
So, today was fairly relaxed. I had to get up fairly early (well, 9:45 but that's early to me!) because I wanted to go into town with my Mum and get a birthday card for Lizzy which I had forgotten to buy when I bought her present. Oops. Ah well, I've got one now. :)
We went to the dog groomers' on the way to town (obviously lol) because my two dogs, Daisy and Barney (you can see Daisy on the right hand side), got really matted while we were on holiday. Fun. :) So yeah, we then finally got into town where I mooched off by myself getting a card for Lizzy, finding out information about coach trips to theme parks (I'll tell you about that in a minute) and generally browsing the shops.
I mentioned yesterday how I thought that me, Lizzy and Grace were going to Thorpe Park sometime in the near future. Well, because the journey to Thorpe Park by various trains and stuff would take four hours there and four hours back, we decided (after, as I mentioned, a bit of a froth lol) to keep our options open and that I would look for coaches to other theme parks and Thorpe Park itself.

Well, I looked and it was really good: they did loads of trips to loads of places with really good prices. There unfortunately wasn't one to Thorpe Park but there was one to Alton Towers so hopefully we'll be going there very soon. Yay!!!!
It's weird. The day before we're all going up to London to see the Lord of the Rings musical so it's gonna be an action packed few days!!! I'm so excited. :D
But anyway, after I found all this info out, I went to meet my mum and her friend in Starbucks for a coffee. Except I had a frappuccino 'cause I was really hot. It was horrible. I dunno why 'cause they're usually nice. Losing their touch maybe? Hehe. They should stick to hot coffee methinks.
I wish they would do those bottled yummy cold coffee 'frappuccinos' they do in the States. They are SO yummy but they don't do them over here. :( I could drink those all day ...
ANYWAY, there I was, calmly drinking my disgusting drink and eating my artificial yet so damn yummy cupcake, and my friend Charlotte comes in! I was very happy to say the least. I hadn't seen her in ages and I didn't know that she would be in town. Because my mum would be in town a bit longer, me and Charlie went around the shops for an hour, looking at random clothes that might be suitable for school in September (I have to wear smart stuff for school instead of a uniform. Why does it have to be smart? Why can't we wear just normal clothes? Ah well.).
But alas, an hour passed and it was time to say arrivederci to Charlie and go home.
Not much happened after that except that I had a massive massive MASSIVE lunch at around 2ish because I hadn't had anything to eat all day but was consequently full when dinner came around a couple of hours ago. Oops. Hehe.
So that was my interesting day. Heehee. I didn't watch any films or read any books today so I'm afraid there are no reviews to be had. Boo hoo. XD
Well, I'd better go. Not that there's anyone to talk to or anything since Grace selfishly went out to Pizza Express for dinner. XD XD
See ya!

P.S. I have now just completed a manga style drawing of me, Lizzy and Grace for Lizzy's birthday. It took me 2 and a quarter hours and since I'm not the most fantastic artist in the world, it isn't that great but it'll do I guess. :) I just hope Lizay likes it. :D

Sunday - Pride, Prejudice and Plans Awry
Hi! I'm back again, and I've decided that I'm gonna try (try being the operative word) to update this daily, telling you of my life and so forth. Not that you care what happens in my life but hey! I'm gonna tell it anyway. >.<

So basically, yesterday I came back from holiday where I went cruising around the Med for two weeks, much like mon amie
Grace did so I was pretty shattered 'cause it was a long journey and a looong day.
Grace did so I was pretty shattered 'cause it was a long journey and a looong day.
I felt I deserved a good night's sleep.
I got 12 hours. Aaaaah. But now I'm not tired. >.<
Nothing much happened today really. I went out to lunch with my family which was nice and then watched the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice which took up most of the day as you can imagine. I love that film and now, I actually love the book. The first time I read it in Year 10 well, to be honest I didn't really like it very much. I don't know why because I had always loved the film and then the new one came out and I loved that as well. It was a bit strange really because I adore books. But ah well.

While I was on the cruise I mentioned above, they were showing the shorter film (the one with Keira Knightley in it) on the boat and I watched it. And for some inexplicable reason, I got an itching to read the book. We went to Florence the next day and as luck would have it, we stumbled upon an English/American bookshop, right in the hub of Florence! As the ship's library didn't have any Austen novels (what kind of library doesn't have Pride and Prejudice?) I bought it and devoured it within a day.
And now I'm in the love with the book just as much, if not more, than with the BBC version of it.
So there's my story of the day. :)
I wrote that very quickly so excuse me if it's a jumbled heap of rubbish. :)
By the time I watched the film, it was 8 and I was online to talk to my lovely friends, the aforementioned Grace, and Lizzy.
We've been talking about an excursion to Thorpe Park all evening, wondering what type of transport would be best and how we could get the cheapest price possible for it all.

Because I'm a bit of an organiser and planner freak, it ended up in a bit of a froth but nevertheless, hopefully by tomorrow we'll have got somewhere and we'll all be travelling to Thorpe Park sometime in the future! :)
That's my day so far I guess. Unless you want me to review Pride and Prejudice, the film?
I could do, I like doing film reviews and have been doing them for a few months on Myspace.
Yeah alright, you've twisted my arm. I'll review any book or film I read then shall I? Sure why not. Nothing else to do. ;D
Ok, Pride and Prejudice ...
Storyline: I think we all know it but I'll tell it anyway. A young woman, second of five daughters in the Bennet household, called Elizabeth meets a man called Mr Darcy who is arrogant, proud and a bit mean about her at the start. As she hears tales of his pride and arrogance over the weeks, her prejudice against him is settled so that when anyone tries to tell her that actually, Mr Darcy is kinda nice, she refuses to hear it. Meanwhile, the eldest Bennet daughter, Jane, is besotted with Darcy's friend, Mr Bingley, but they move away after only a month in Hertfordshire, where the novel is basically set. I won't go on because 1. It'd ruin it and 2. I can't be bothered, so let's just get onto my thoughts, shall we?

My Thoughts: Well, it's one of my favourite films of all time and is, in my opinion, the greatest love story ever told. It's full of passion, frustration and restrained love. While there's only one kiss right at the end, it doesn't need sexiness to make the love between Elizabeth and Darcy any more apparent. It's a fantastic story with a few twists and turns and has a happy ending, which I think is vital. :) You won't find a better crafted story anywhere so if you haven't watched this already, do because you seriously won't regret it.
Rating: 100/10 Duh. :)
Goodness gracious, this is long. Well, nothing else happened today so I'll leave it at that.
See ya,

And So It Begins
Hello one and all. It is I, Immi, the girl whose brain drops out on a surprisingly frequent basis, here to blog in a new place.
Hi.
I've been blogging very very very infrequently on Myspace for a few months and I saw a friend of mine's blog on here and I thought: this is so much better.
So I've moved! :D
That's it really, nothing else to tell at the moment but I'll be back ... mwa ha ha.
Ahem.
See you around!
